Cookies
The home page and the credits page set no cookies. The builder sets one necessary cookie when you start building, and signing in sets sign-in cookies.
The tn_anon guest cookie
When you use the builder without signing in (write an instruction or change your site), we create a guest session so your project is still there when you reload the page. Just opening /build does not create a guest session.

- A random id for the guest session. No personal data in the cookie.
- Properties
- HttpOnly (scripts can’t read it), Secure (https only), SameSite=Lax.
- Lifetime
- 7 days. After that the guest session and its projects are deleted.
- Purpose
- Strictly necessary to save your work, so we don’t ask for consent.
If you sign in, your guest projects move to your account and the cookie is removed.
Signing in
When you sign in with an email link, our sign-in service (Supabase) sets session cookies that keep you signed in. They are necessary for signing in and are removed when you sign out or the session expires.
Colour theme
Your choice of dark or light theme is stored in your browser’s local storage (not in a cookie) and never leaves your browser.
No tracking
We use no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics and no tracking pixels. Images and fonts are served from our own server.
Questions and deletion
You can delete the cookie in your browser at any time. That removes the link to your guest session, and the session is deleted automatically after 7 days. If you’d like us to delete it sooner, or have questions, get in touch via Contact on the About page.
